Born Michael E. Santiago in Bronx, NY on March 28, 1985, Trak Magic, has tapped into all aspects of the music industry, starting out of his bedroom with just a PC fruity loop program, he was determined to broaden his horizons and became CEO of his own label, Fire Star Entertainment, LLC. He moved forward to build his own in house studio in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where his services surpass production, to offering song writing, recording, engineering, & management. Refusing to limit himself, Trak Magic, has had a great success also as an artist on remixes and freestyles with his distinct style of rap, after the release of his debut mix-tape, “The Road to Success”, hosted by Broward County’s top disc jockey DJ KD.
Spyda’s hit “I’m a Superstar” off of his debut All Debts Paid Mixtape, produced by Trak Magic, brought onward a different style of music reggae mixed with pop. He went on to engineering Spyda’s second double disc mixtape, “Fire Hazard/United States of Jamerica”, which has been very successful and has brought Trak Magic’s career to the next level. His production has also led him to be heard on BET’s Spring Bling 2010 by Rocsi (Host of 106 & Park), Yo Gotti, and others. In addition, his production for T-Bro out of North Carolina, which were used for the Charlotte Bobcats anthem, has gained him publicity with many including Bobcats players, owner Bob Johnson, and co-owner Michael Jordan. In the works is also rap artist, J Dogs album, “Disclosure” and Trak Magic’s second mixtape “The Rise to the Top”, featuring various artists such as Charles Reed, Fixx Ticket, Vicky Vendetta, Spyda, J Dog and many more.
Trak Magic has booked many shows with great triumph including Club Tonic, Vero Beach, FL, Rock Hard, Fort Lauderdale, and 90 Degrees Miami, just to name a few.
As he has embarked on this journey, Trak Magic has grown as a producer/artist. His goal is to let his music be heard by the world and to give the listener’s something that makes them dance. On the personal side, this producer/artist is a great father/husband and is as dedicated to his family as he is to his music. There is no limit as to where his career may take him, but he always drives himself to master his craft.
